North American Dota 2 legend, Peter "PPD" Dager, has officially signed contract with Swedish organisation Alliance to trial as their Dota 2 coach.
PPD, most notably known for winning The International 2015, serves a the CEO of Evil Geniuses organisation from 2016 to 2017 before stepping down from the position and return to competitive Dota 2 scene. Whereas, Alliance is most notable known for winning The International 2013, where the grand final against Team Natus Vincere were seen as the best Dota 2 series of all times.
Alliance note that PPD will be sure to elevate their team play and make the team more than ready for the upcoming challenges as they continue their journey in Season 2 of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). Currently Alliance stands at the top of the group stage at DreamLeague Season 15 Dota Pro Circuit Western Europe Upper Division, with 4 series win under their belt, and losing only 1 series to Brame. They are looking real strong going into the second major this year.
Currently at the 6th Position in Dota Pro Circuit, Alliance is guaranteed a direct invite to The International 10, to compete over a prize pool of 40 million USD. Alliance will have PPD behind their back to help them lift the aegis for the second time since 2013. With 3 TIs winners working together; Loda, PPD as well as S4, we are sure to see some great actions coming out from the Alliance.
Alliance is looking to make a comeback after poor performance at One Esports Singapore Major, where they ended their journey without even making it to the playoffs.
With the 2 big names joining hands, we will be sure to see a big changes towards the Alliance.
