Lil Gun has come a long way in the Southeast Asia Season 2 Dota Pro Circuit 2021. They fought their way through from Open Qualifier - Closed Qualifier - DPC 2021 Season 1 Lower Division. In Season 1 DPC 2021, Lil Gun top the Southeast Asia region by winning almost all the series, dropping on 5 out of the 16 games they played.
With the excellence performance, Lil Gun topped the Lower Divison DPC 2021, and was guaranteed a slot in the Upper Division DPC 2021 Season 2.
However, things weren't going well at all for Lil Gun in the Upper Division. As Upper Division teams have proven to be too much for Lil Gun to handle, they lost every single series prior to the match against TNC Predator.
When Lil Gun was facing against TNC Predator, nobody expected Lil Gun to put up a fight against TNC Predator, let alone taking a 2-0 series over TNC Predator.
Lil Gun shook the world when game 1 ended as they forced a GG out from TNC Predator, successfully taking 1 game away from TNC Predator, putting TNC Predator dream of going to 2nd Major on hold.
Just when we thought things will end with a 2-1 in favour of TNC Predator, Lil Gun did something that surprises everyone; by picking a pudge core. That pudge pick proves too much for TNC to handle as one by one, they are hooked to death by MarVel.
Things got out of control very quickly and eventually, TNC Predactor can no longer hold on against Lil Gun. GG was dropped by TNC, and Lil Gun secured themselves as 2-0 victory over one of the best Southeast Asia team currently.
Even though Lil Gun did a good job in the series, they are guarantee a slot back into the lower division by the end of this DPC. Currently, Lil Gun is in the last place in DPC 2021 SEA Upper Division, and even if they managed to win their last series, their standing will still be at the last place.
We hope Lil Gun can continue to show us some good Dota in the future, and we hope to see them making it to the major in the future.
