Keen Gaming Coach Announces Club Disbandment

Updated: May 21, 2020

Keen Gaming organisation is established on 2017, bringing a new Chinese giant into the Dota 2 scene. Keen Gaming achieved great result during 2018, where they attain 2nd place in GESC Thailand Minor, taking down big names like Team Secret and Evil Geniuses. Since then, the club has been struggling to win any tournament.

After many times of roster shuffle, Keen Gaming barely made it to The International 2019, hoping to find some success in the event only to exit the tournament bottom four position.

The team got caught up with a Dota 2 bug regarding wildwing ripper cyclone against iG.Vitality. Eventually forcing iG.Vitality to lose the series 0-2 to Keen Gaming, earning them a free win.

They are best known for being one of the founding members of the Chinese Dota 2 Professional Association (CDA) despite being a new Dota 2 team in China.

On May 20, Keen Gaming's coach Chen "86" Yu Xuan, revealed that Keen Gaming is disbanding. Official post can be seen below,

Translated: Since the club is disbanding soon, I'm helping to find a job and place for this old couple who works at Keen Gaming. They are in-charge of our daily cooking and area cleaning. This couple can cook good dishes, are honest and hardworking, even helping to do heavy duties sometimes at the age of about 50 years old. Do PM me if you need them.

No official announcement have been made by the organisation as of yet, it is still unclear when Keen Gaming will be officially disband and Keen Gaming will be playing on the 21 May 2020 against Team Aster and Invictus Gaming.

Let's hope that the organisation will keep going. Hopefully the team can achieve good results in this upcoming season so that the organisation will call off the disbandment.
